For those of you that haven’t seen any bamboo clothing you’re probably thinking, how am I going to dress my baby up with that? Might as well put them in a hollowed out tree. Well of course there is a process from turning the raw materials of the bamboo plant into clothing. The start of this process is taking the woody parts of the bamboo and crushing them. Later natural enzymes are used to turn the bamboo into a mushy substance so that the fibers can be taken out and spun into a yarn. The end result is bamboo linen. Continue reading
